What Meds We Use
Biologic Medications
Many new medications termed “biologics” are now available for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoporosis, ankylosing spondylitis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
These medications offer dramatic advances in the treatment of rheumatic diseases. Several of these medications are given intravenously.
